Important! The proper use of Therapeutic Tea.

Tea leaves should not be soaked or boiled for more than 10 - 20 minutes, except for some ingredients. Over-cooked tea will become bitter with an unpleasant aroma.


Red Ginseng Tea

Common Name:

Renshen, Red Ginseng, Korean Ginseng, Radix & Panax Ginseng

Generic Name:

Panax Ginseng Tea

Red Ginseng

Herbal Indications:

Activate organ functions - increases energy; sedative effects; general weakness; insomnia; increases blood pressure; a powerful tonic

Contraindications:

Fever; hypertension; cold and flu; infections; acute inflammation

Others:

Avoid Ta-gen (white radish), fish and broad beans

Common Dosage:

3 - 9 grams

Ingredients:

3 - 9 Korean Ginseng slices

Preparations:

Put ingredients into a ceramic mug and add boiling water. Seal the mug with tinfoil, then a lid. Put the mug in a pot of water. Simmer for 3 hours.

Others:

For best results, take one dose per day for 3 - 4 days. For general health maintenance, take once a month.


Luohangguo Tea

Common Name:

Luohangguo tea

Luo Han Guo

Generic Name:

Fructus Momordicae

Herbal Indications:

Cleanses respiratory tract; softens stools; dry cough and sore throat; coarse voice; anti-aging; cosmetic purposes; allergic conditions; relieving menopause symptoms; pimples; weight control; sugar substitutes; vitamin E and C effects

Contraindications:

Allergy to herbs; Diarrhea

Common Dosage:

For acute symptoms, use 9 grams

Ingredients:

Luohangguo

Preparations:

Crush the fruit. Brew with 1.5 cups water for 20 - 30 minutes. Filter and store juice in fridge. Use 5 - 10 ml each time with warm water.

Others:

This fruit can only grow in special soil, which 5 million years ago was the ocean bottom of a beautiful province in China. It's powerful effects come from the high quality of vitamin E and C, which act as anti-oxidants.


Rose Flower Tea

Common Name:

Rose buds, Meiguihua tea

Herbal Indications:

Stagnation of Qi causing depressive moods, calming effects; relieves pains; rib pain especially on the right side; indigestion and nausea; adjusts menstrual imbalance; pain from sprains

Contraindications:

Allergies to flower pollen

Common Dosage:

1.5 - 6 grams

Ingredients:

Rose Buds (1 -2 g)

Preparations:

Put buds and boiling water in cup and cover with a lid for 20 minutes

Others:

If you grow a lot of roses, pick the buds and roast them on low heat until dry. Can relieve rib pain, gastric discomfort, stress and has cleansing effects.


Xiakycao Tea

Xiakycao Tea

Generic Name:

Spica Prunella

Herbal Indications:

Fever, dryness of mouth and feeling dehydrated; promotes healthy eye conditions; eliminates swelling due to tissue hardening or inflammatory changes; hypertension.

Contraindications:

Extreme chronic and weak physical conditions; allergic reactions to the herb.

Common Dosage:

9 - 15 grams

Ingredients:

Xiakycao (10g), Lotus leaves (10g)

Preparations:

Brew the ingredients with 1 L of water for 30 minutes. Use as a fluid supplement.

Others:

It is helpful for dizziness with headaches and high blood pressure. It has cleansing and detoxifying effects and promotes the healthy condition of the liver. The tea can be used for a few days to treat frequent redness of the eyes and a suffering from stomachitis.


B.C. Ginseng Tea

B.C. Ginseng Tea

B.C. Ginseng

Generic Name:

Panax Quinquefolius

Herbal Indications:

Promotes body resistance against infections; strengthens immune system; activates cellular metabolic functions; anti-aging; increases energy; improves concentration; regulates major organs and hormonal functions; reduces cholesterol level; lowers stress level; adjusts menopause symptoms; cancer prevention; for cosmetic use.

Contraindications:

Cold and flu symptoms; allergies; extreme weak physical conditions; low blood pressure; infections.

Others:

American Ginseng is more a neutral tonic than the Red Ginseng, but has a cumulative effect, so the results take longer to become apparent. Ginsenosides are the main properties in cancer prevention. The small roots have more Ginsenosides than the main stem.

Common Dosage:

1 - 3 grams per day

Ingredients:

B.C. Ginseng slices (1g or 1 teaspoon of powder)

Preparations:

Put the Ginseng in a cup and add boiling water. Place a lid on and wait 15 minutes.

Others:

If the taste is too strong, use less ginseng. Very effective against against dry mouth, sore throat, pimples, constipation, restlessness, hyperactive emotions and hypertension. Make a big pot for a day's use.


Diet Slim Tea

Shanzha Tea

Fructus Crataegi

Herbal Indications:

Gastro-intestinal weakness; activates the Qi flow; cleanses the GI tract; gas bloating; abdominal pain; lowers cholesterol level; increases metabolic rate - for dieting.

Contraindications:

Gastric ulcers; hyper acidic conditions; allergies; low blood pressure

Others:

Use ceramic pot for preparations

Common Dosage:

10 - 15 grams

Ingredients:

Shanzha (10g), Chrysanthemum flower (10g)

Preparations:

Brew ingredients with 800 - 1000 ml of water for 20 minutes. Filter. The fluid is for whole day's use.

Others:

This recipe can be used for losing weight, lowering cholesterol and high blood pressure.

Contraindications:

Low blood pressure, hyper acidic stomach conditions and allergies.


Green Onion Tea

Common cold and flu with fever, induces sweating; decongests respiratory tract

Contraindications:

Allergy to Green Onions

Others:

Green onion has very strong smell and taste. It is used for cooking and it has the functions very close to garlic.

Common Dosage:

1 - 3 grams

Ingredients:

Green onion white (20g) crushed, crushed walnut meat (5g), ginger (20g), English tea leaves (10g)

Preparations:

Simmer the ingredients with one mug of water for 15 minutes. Filter. Take while still hot.

Others:

After taking the tea, stay in bed and cover with a blanket to induce sweating. Green onion can weaken the germs and viruss' ability to multiply. Usually take one dose per day until symptoms subside. See your doctor in case of complications.
